An mp4 using H.264 is definitely widely supported (https://caniuse.com/?search=mp4) but av1 is not (https://caniuse.com/?search=av1). A webm video is another option (https://caniuse.com/?search=webm).

The tarball size for 3.15 increased significantly (12MB) from 3.14. Two GIFs in library/profiling.sampling.rst can be optimized to reduce their size and reduce the 3.15 tarball size.
