There is an ongoing idea to use [finch](https://github.com/finagle/finch) for backend part of our application. We need someone who will research possible ways of integrating it.

Since finch is based on finagle and we use PostgreSQL, we may give this thing a try https://github.com/finagle/finagle-postgres
