Oh yeah, so I didn't add any tests for this cause I was a little bit unsure how I should do to test this. If you have any suggestion that would be great, otherwise I'll take a look myself later. |

Merged in 3.41.0. I wrote some tests for it. Thanks for the patch! |

I'm using this feature to get some external node-modules to work properly, so that I can use coverify to get code coverage for my node code. Getting #666 was a great start, but I need this as well.
