@davideast I'm going to move the file re-organization into its own issue so we can prioritize bug fixes for the beta.2 release.

I'm also going to move clang formatting to post-beta.2. I did a dry run and it's a pretty drastic change; don't want to slow people down making PRs for bug fixes and stuff just yet.
